As the Conference Chair and Co-Chair, it is our great pleasure to extend a warm invitation to you to participate in "2012 International Conference on Renewable Energy and Policy & 2012 Tsungming Tu Award Ceremony", which will be held on 11-15 November 2012 at National Taiwan University in Taipei. Your participation is vital and beneficial for the success of the Conference.

We have organized a program covering contemporary key aspects of renewable energy, energy policy and related fields. The agenda is designed to form a dialogue that will bring together experts of energy and sustainability specialties. The participants will experience and enjoy not only a journey through the latest developments of the renewable energy field, but also the actual journey in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan.

Welcome Letter

Dear Distinguished Scholars,

On behalf of the Humboldt-Club Taiwan, a group of Taiwanese Humboldtians of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Germany, it is indeed an honor for us to invite you to participate as a potential guest of "2012 International Conference on Renewable Energy and Policy & 2012 Tsungming Tu Award Ceremony" which will be held on 11-15 November 2012 in International Conference Hall, College of Law, National Taiwan University. This Conference is a joined working program of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation; Energy Research Center, and Office of National Science & Technology Program for Energy, National Taiwan University; National Science Council of Taiwan.

This Conference is designed to share experiences and views from Humboltians, distinguished professors, government officials and experts from European to Asian countries, with an agenda that are relevant in addressing the key issues of integral outlook associated with renewable energy development and global environmental change, and how to achieve the efficient application of different energy-saving technologies and strategies distributed in different geographical regions.

With your participation we can make this a meeting of the best that the global renewable energy and energy policy community has to offer. We, with warm greetings, look forward to welcoming you to this Conference which we hope will be an exciting meeting that promises many fruitful discussions.
